Mitchells & Butlers operates some of the UK’s best known pub and restaurant brands including Harvester, Toby Carvery and All Bar One. Its Manchester Printworks site is a busy city centre location, serving hundreds of customers every day. We are looking for Kitchen Porters to help keep the kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes.

Physically demanding job in busy hot kitchen environment. You will be washing up, keeping the kitchen clean and making sure the chefs always have what they need." No experience necessary. If you are hard working and can keep up with a fast kitchen you can start almost on the spot.

Job Role:

• Wash all pots, pans, plates, cutlery, and kitchen equipment throughout the shift
• Keep the kitchen floor swept and mopped at all times — kitchens get messy fast
• Take out kitchen waste and recycling regularly during service
• Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and cooking areas to food hygiene standards
• Restock the pass and prep areas so chefs always have what they need nearby
• Help chefs with basic food prep tasks when the kitchen is quiet
• Follow all food hygiene and health and safety rules on every shift

Pay and Shifts

• £11.50 to £12.00 per hour
• Full time and part time positions both available
• Day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts available
• Flexible hours that can be discussed when you apply
• Weekly pay
• Extra hours available during busy periods and events at the Printworks
