LabCorp Medical Couriers / Service Representative - Paid Holidays

LabCorp is one of the largest clinical laboratory networks in the United States and they are performing millions of medical tests each year for hospitals, clinics and patients across the country. LabCorp is looking  Medical Couriers (also called Service Representatives) across the country, offering full time and part time shifts.

The job is easy. You collect medical specimens, lab supplies and paperwork from hospitals, clinics and doctor’s offices, delivering them safely and on time to LabCorp’s processing facilities. The cargo is sensitive – blood samples, tissue specimens, lab kits – so being careful and following proper handling procedures is part of the daily routine.

You spend most of your day on the road, following a set route. You work for yourself which is good if you like to be on the go rather than behind a desk. Different locations have different shifts – some routes start early morning, others work through the evening.

Responsibilities

• Pick up medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports from clinics and hospitals
• Deliver all items to the correct LabCorp facility on time and safely
• Follow proper handling procedures for biological and temperature-sensitive materials
• Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately at each stop
• Carry out vehicle safety checks at the start and end of each shift
• Stay in contact with dispatch regarding route updates or delays
• Follow all HIPAA regulations when handling patient-related materials

Skills Required

• Clean, valid driver's license — this is non-negotiable
• Good time management — routes run to a schedule
• Comfortable with GPS and route-tracking apps
• Basic knowledge of HIPAA or willingness to learn through training
• Reliable and detail-oriented — mistakes in this job have real consequences

Job Benefits:
