Greencore Group Recruiting Delivery Drivers | £2.5/hour night premium

Greencore is one of the biggest manufacturers of convenience food in the UK – you have probably eaten their products and not realised it. They provide sandwiches, salads, sushi and ready meals to major retailers nationwide. The group has over 28,000 people across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots in the UK and US following its combination with Bakkavor in early 2026.

Now Recruiting Delivery Drivers across London and surrounding areas. The role is simple – you'll be on the road early, completing your route and your day before most people have had lunch. If you enjoy working independently, getting an early start, and having the afternoon free, this role might be perfect for you.

Starts at 3:30 a.m. Depending on the route, drivers are averaging between 10 and 35 deliveries a day. It’s a physical loading job, unloading and keeping things moving, but the pay reflects that.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily delivery routes to assigned retail and commercial locations
• Load and unload goods safely at each stop
• Follow all road safety and traffic regulations throughout the shift
• Complete delivery documentation and proof of delivery at each drop
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery problems to your manager
• Maintain a clean and professional approach when representing Greencore on the road

Skills Required

• Valid full UK driving licence — category B minimum
• Good knowledge of London roads and surrounding areas
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual — early starts are a regular part of the role
• Basic communication skills for coordinating with depot and retail contacts

Salary

Base pay is £15.60 per hour. Any hours worked between 10pm and 6am attract an additional £2.5 per hour night premium. Overtime is paid at time and a quarter after 42 hours per week. Weekly pay.
