Weekend Caregiver - Dallas, TX

BrightSpring Health Services is hiring weekend caregivers in Dallas, TX. This is a part-time caregiver position that is two days a week - Saturday & Sunday. You’ll visit senior clients in their own home throughout the Dallas area and help them get through their day safely and comfortably.

This is not a job in a hospital. You’ll work in real homes, with real people who need a steady, kind presence on their weekends. Most of the clients are older adults living alone or with a spouse. They want someone who is there, who is paying attention and who cares about doing it right.

Dallas territory includes clients in North Dallas, East Dallas and nearby neighborhoods. Most clients are within a 15 mile radius of the city centre so you won’t be sent far. There is a company care coordinator on the phone seven days a week if anything comes up during your shift.

Job Responsibility:

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and morning routines
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and sit with clients at meal times
• Escort clients to doctor or church appointments or grocery stores
• Do light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
• Keep them company by talking or taking walks, or doing things with them.
• Remind about evening medications if it is noted in the care plan
• Write a short shift note at the end of each visit
• Inform the care coordinator of any changes in the client’s health or mood

Pay & Benefits

• $27,000 – $31,000 per year based on hours worked and client assignments
• Paid training program completed before your first client visit
• Mileage reimbursement for all travel between client homes
