Comfort Keepers Houston is looking for a live-in caregiver for senior clients aged 70 and above. This is a full-time position where you move into the client's home during your working days. You will have your own private room and guaranteed rest hours each night. When your four days are done, a relief caregiver takes over and you go home.

This caregiver job is not a regular shift job. This is not punching a clock in an office. You are living in someone’s home, setting up a real routine with them, becoming a trusted presence in their daily life. All new hires with Comfort Keepers are trained before their first assignment. No nursing license or home care experience is required to apply. Their onboarding covers everything from safe transfer techniques to what to do in a medical emergency.  Most new employees are confident by the third day of training.

The job has a care coordinator who is available to you 24/7. If something goes wrong with a client overnight, you’re not on your own. Support is a phone call away.

Job Responsibility

• Help with personal care – bathing, grooming, dressing – every morning
• Follow any diet guidelines for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Transport clients to doctor appointments and weekly errands
• Offer conversation, games, television and walks Provide company
• Manage clients’ medication reminder schedule
• Keep the client’s living space clean and orderly
• Keep a daily care log and provide updates to the client’s family
• Assistance with night time bathroom trips and settling client for bed

Pay & Benefits

• $35,000 – $45,000 per year,  room and meals included, which stretches take-home pay further
• Paid orientation and hands-on training before first assignment
• Health benefits available after 60 days
• Consistent rotation, same client each cycle, no random reassignments
• Care coordinator support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Paid sick days after 90 days of employment
